| BOOTSTRAP was funded by the European
Commission within the ESPRIT programme. Its objective was to
develop a methodology for software process assessment,
quantitative measurement, and improvement, and validate the
methodology by applying it to a number of companies. After the
completion of the ESPRIT project the BOOTSTRAP Institute was
established.
