| In 1987 the ISO 9000 series of standards, ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003, were released in Geneva. Since the ISO 90010 series was written to be used by all kinds of industries, it is often difficult to interpret it for software development. Hence, in 1991 ISO 9000-3 : "Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001 to the development, supply and maintenance of software" was published. | |
