IGOpeople Launch

IGOpeople, the new powerful Web 2.0 site was launched on 17 December 2008. Highly innovative and reflecting the structure of our world, it provides the opportunity for the major players in our society: Individuals (I), Groups (G) and Organisations (O) - hence IGOpeople, to relate to each other and have a strong voice on those issues that are important in our lives.

We at the Centre for Software Engineering are very pleased and honoured to have been associated with this venture from its conceptual incubation. The CSE has worked to hatch the concept, elaborate the detail, and establish the evolving scope of this unique invention of Cormac Horan, Founder and Product Director of IGO people. The system has now been taken to market by the influential contribution of Cormac, Campbell Scott as CEO and business driver, with David Cotter and Darren Curran as lead developers.
